Yes, Kotak811 Lite and Limited KYC accounts come with a limited validity of 12 months.

You can remove this limit and get a lifetime validity for your account by completing your Full KYC.

If you hold a Kotak811 Limited account, you can complete Full KYC through the Video KYC process. Click here to start the call. Video KYC is not available for Kotak811 Lite account holders.

You can also complete your Full KYC using the Kotak811 Mobile Banking App. Just book an appointment with a Kotak811 officer and they will visit you for Full KYC.

To book an appointment via the app,

  • Visit the Kotak811 section on the Kotak811 Mobile Banking App
  • Go to 'Verify your a/c'
  • Tap on 'Book appointment'

A customer support executive will call you to confirm the time and your address before the visit.

IMPORTANT: If Full KYC is not completed within 180 days from the date of account opening, transactions for your account are blocked. However, you can still complete your Full KYC.

An account expires if Full KYC is not completed within 12 months from account opening, with no possibility of reactivation.
